Responsibilities:
· Delivery of systems engineering services for one or more sales territories, including presentations, high-level design, prototype and competitive benchmark development, evaluator/developer training, and liaison with engineering and support for prospects and customers.
· Technical account management for one or more sales territories, including definition of strategy based on thorough understanding of each prospects technical challenges and recommendation of appropriate technical architecture, data model, design patterns, migration and upgrade strategies, and operational deployment procedures to build a complete solution based on company's product suite.
· Perform technical qualification of prospects using company’s qualification methodology.
· Maintain pro-active relationships with customers from initial evaluation through development and deployment of their application. Anticipate technical problems, assist in using company's effectively, and provide technical support as needed.
· Develop demonstrations, presentations, white papers, benchmarking tools and other tools as needed to support sales and marketing. Work with marketing on related events in assigned territories such as trade shows and webinars.
· Provide on/off-site standard and customized training and education.
· Provide input to requirements manager on win/loss information from evaluations, and future product direction from customer base. · Keeping up to date with latest company's product, competitive products and industry developments.
· Liaise with technical and business partners to help ensure that joint customers receive high quality support.

Qualifications (necessary skills and experience required):
· Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
· At least 10 years experience in computer software industry. · At least 5 years experience of one or more of the major object oriented languages – C++, Java, C#.
· At least 5 years experience of one or more of the major operating systems - Windows, Linux or Unix
· Experience of object oriented methodologies.
· Experience of database management software.
· Experience of distributed computing (Grid, Cloud).
· Proven problem analysis and problem solving skills.
· Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – able to present to senior technical personnel such as CTO, Chief Architect, Heads of development, and executives.
· Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
· Must be legally eligible to work in the US.
· Must be capable of obtaining security clearance.
· Must be willing to travel |
