The strategic sales person supports all customers, partners & products in the segmented space (250+ employee size)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer campaign specific inbound calls/emails/www requests, capture in SFDC
- Outbound campaigns to prospect lists, embedded base lists, renewal lists, etc.
- Assess customer needs and sell the solution - Qualify customers for other opportunities/products
- Works with field teams to drive new account acquisition and share of wallet plays
- Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company; may do so through direct visits while also partnering closely with field sales.
- May have assigned account responsibility for maintenance and penetration of current customers.
- Establishes and maintains an opportunity management funnel and participates in regular account/territory planning sessions with Account Managers that apply to their area of specialty and to the opportunities that they will focus on to drive revenue for the company.
- May provide marketing collateral to prospective clients and has an evolving knowledge base of the industry, as well as the company's competitive posture.
- Coordinates, organizes, hosts, and/or participates in lead-generation activities, including Seminars, Blitzes, Trade show participation, Training, and other marketing events.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (Business Administration or other related disciplines)
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Self-motivated “driver” with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in a sales position or Technology industry preferred

- Call Center Metrics: Outbound Call Metrics & Limited Inbound Metrics
- Account Metrics: Revenue, Transactions, Quotes, Opportunities, Discounting, Product Pen, Account Pen
- Acquisition Metrics: New accounts ID’s, pen of un-served customers, campaign specific revenue & close metrics
- Key Ratios: Product Penetration, Campaign-based close rates, Opportunity/Lead Ratio, Upstream Close Rate
- Customer Experience Metrics: Customer Satisfaction, TAM/CAM Satisfaction, Accuracy of Information, Accuracy of Transfer
