The Pharmacist's role is to dispense, compound, label, store, and ensure the proper use of pharmaceutical preparations, contribute to the efficient operation of the department, direct the pharmacy technicians, provide education and advance the goals of the hospital.
It is expected that the Pharmacist shall exercise leadership in all matters related to the medication use process for neonate/infant through geriatrics.
The position requires interaction with healthcare members, management, system members, physicians and patients.
The Pharmacist is responsible for supporting the quality improvement process through professional development, performance monitoring, and improvement indicators. |

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy, with current licensure as a Registered
Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey.
Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and aseptic technique
One year of experience as a practicing pharmacist |
