The Staff Pharmacist interprets, fills and dispenses medications, provides patient education material and other pharmaceutical supplies following standard procedures/guidelines to fill prescriptions, using pharmaceutical expertise for all ages of patients; assists in maintaining and routinely inspecting an adequate, secure and properly stored stock of medications/supplies; performs therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), Sub?Acute Care functions; performs other clinical/non-clinical duties as required; and attends Code Blue emergencies when responsible.
This employee must demonstrate tact and good communication skills when dealing with Medical Staff and in the daily reading of the communication book, initialing acknowledgment and reporting/documenting important information for other Pharmacy staff in a legible, constructive manner. |

Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Certification: Must be licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy.
Experience : Hospital pharmacy experience desirable but not mandatory. Must have completed licensing requirements of the State Board of NJ |
