POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the Management Director in implementation of all aspects of the Quality Management Program including:
Identification of opportunities to improve patient care Planning and facilitating interventions Evaluation and sustaining of success Teaching PI methods and strategies Leadership in PI activities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Assist in implementation of the hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program. 2. Works with the Medical Staff leadership, regulatory agencies, and hospital staff as directed. 3. Reviews medical records according to criteria and outcome data identified. 4. Assists in identifying and developing organizational improvement opportunities while looking at specific clinical outcomes. 5. Participates in education of hospital and medical staff in the performance improvement program/methodology and current JCAHO Federal requirements. 6. Assists as directed in the QM Module Report Program. 7. Other duties as assigned within scope and practice of licensure |

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 1. RN license State of NJ
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 1. Education experience within the last 3 years 2. Clinical Experience within the last 5 years 3. Current computer skills, word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and presentation software 4. Interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with individuals of diverse management hierarchies and cultural backgrounds
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: 1. MS/MSN/MEd Preferred 2. Supervisory or management experience preferred 3. Knowledge and demonstrated application of current educational theories and principles specific to adult learners 4. Knowledge of organizational and program development within a corporate environment
